As we previously reported here on eWn, El Hijo del Vikingo underwent surgery to fix a ruptured ligament and torn meniscus.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Vikingo was informed he would be sidelined anywhere from five to nine months.
It could be as early as five months due to this being Vikingo’s first surgery, but considering the recovery period required for the grave injury, that could push it to nine.
Additionally, there is no word on what AAA plans to do with the AAA Mega Championship that Vikingo still holds.
