Ryan Nemeth Refuses To Comment On His AEW Contract Status, Matt Hardy Praises Will Ospreay

On a recent edition of his “The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy” podcast, AEW veteran Matt Hardy lavished praise on Will Ospreay, calling him “very special” and a “once in a generation” performer.

Ospreay is currently 3-0 in AEW since debuting as a contracted talent at Revolution 2024 and will face Bryan Danielson at Dynasty on April 21.

Hardy said, He 100% has the potential [to be a major player]. I mean, he’s an incredible performer in ring. People use that expression of ‘once in a generation performer,’ but he really is. He is very, very special. I also think too, he’s been a good speaker. His mannerism, the way he expresses himself, has been really, really good and he just seems very believable. He seems very likable. I think he is someone that can be a huge deal, and someone that AEW can build around going forward.”

On a recent edition of the “Wrestle Binge” podcast, Ryan Nemeth discussed his current contract status with AEW.

He said, “I will very diplomatically tell you that is a topic I just can’t talk about at the moment…Everything I’ve ever done with AEW, I’ve been very proud of and I appreciate every single match I’ve had there and all the friends I’ve made and it was a great experience. TBD.”

Nemeth last wrestled for AEW in November 2023, losing to Wardlow on AEW Collision.
