Speaking with Joe Murray of 98.5 The Sports Hub, Samoa Joe was asked about future AEW World Heavyweight Title contenders.
Joe will make his next title defense against Wardlow on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite. Joe is confident that he will hold onto the title for a while. He said,
“Who earns an opportunity, that’s very much out of my hands. It’s whoever wants to step up and actually prove their case. As for when is this gonna leave me, I mean, listen, we can sit here and talk about the end of the world all you want, but that’s probably the only time this is ever coming off my shoulder.”
