Timeline For Darby Allin’s In-Ring Return From Injury

Darby Allin sustained a broken foot in three places during his match against Jay White on the AEW Dynamite: Big Business themed episode.

Allin disclosed the injury this week, mentioning that it occurred early in the match when he attempted a flip plancha to the floor. Despite the injury, he continued to wrestle for several more minutes.

Dave Meltzer reported a timeline for Allin’s return in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. He wrote,

This means his scheduled climb of Mount Everest, which was to begin on 3/29, will be delayed or a year or longer. Generally speaking climbing Mount Everest would have taken two months. Depending on the severity and need or surgery, a broken foot can be two months without surgery and luck. CM Punk had surgery and it was three months. Allin has said he’ll postpone the climb to 2025.
