Scorpio Sky is going unused in AEW, despite having been cleared to wrestle for a while.
Sky hasn’t competed since the July 6th edition of AEW Dynamite, when he lost the AEW TNT Championship to Wardlow.
During his time away, Sky had been dealing with a legitimate leg injury, but Fightful Select reports that he has been cleared “for quite some time.”
Their report adds that no creative plans have been put forward for his return.
While Sky was at an episode of AEW Dynamite over the summer and even filmed content for the promotion, it did not end up airing.
At AEW Full Gear 2022, Wardlow lost the TNT Title to Samoa Joe, who also holds the ROH World Television Championship.
