During a backstage segment at WWE Stomping Grounds, where Ricochet was seen taking photos with his newly-earned WWE United States Championship, The Club and AJ Styles came up and invaded the photoshoot only for AJ to tell Ricochet, “congratulations, champ. I will see you tomorrow.”
It is very possible that AJ Styles will challenge Ricochet tomorrow night for the WWE United States Championship. A couple of years ago when AJ Styles was WWE United States Champion, a common practice was the United States Championship open challenge. Perhaps AJ will use this to try and gain a new Championship reign on Monday Night Raw.
