Alberto El Patron’s Lawsuit Against Combate Global Dismissed

Alberto El Patron’s lawsuit against Combate Global over an alleged refusal of payment has been dismissed.

Patron, aka Alberto Del Rio, alleged that Combate Global had breached his contract by not paying him $250,000 for a match with Tito Ortiz in 2019.

Pwinsider reports that the lawsuit was dismissed on January 12, after a joint request for the case to be dismissed with prejudice.

Each side will handle its respective attorneys’ fees, costs, and expenses.

In addition to the $250,000 payment, Patron’s initial suit also requested interest of $26,250 as well as Combate Global to cover his attorney fees.

His initial suit also claimed that Combate Global had seized control of multiple social media accounts of his and had refused to return ownership.

This week, AAA announced that Patron has returned to their promotion and will be part of this year’s TripleMania XXXI events.
