Austin Aries revealed on Twitter that he suffered a ruptured eardrum in the post-match attack by Hideo Itami at Saturday’s NXT Takeover: Brooklyn II special at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. As seen at the event, Aries defeated No Way Jose and after the match, Aries beat down Jose until Itami walked out and hit Aries with a GTS.
