Jeff Jarrett
WWE announced on last week’s episode of SmackDown that Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett will be the special guest referee for the tag-team title match featuring the Usos and the Street Profits at SummerSlam 2022.
According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, this is being done as a “one time thing” to help promote the show. Of course, the show is taking place in Jarrett’s hometown of Nashville, TN. While creative plans in WWE often change on a weekly basis, there are currently no plans for Jarrett to appear as a regular on WWE television following SummerSlam.
