According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the reason there has been very little WWC content on the WWE Network after WWE bought the tape collection last year is because it was damaged by Hurricane Maria when it came through Puerto Rico in 2017.
As previously reported here on eWn, WWE bought the WWC tape library in March of 2018. A lot of tape and film reels have been salvaged but some haven’t been able to be saved.
