According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is planning for RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch to take on Shayna Baszler at WrestleMania 36. As we’ve previously reported, Baszler was originally planned to win the Women’s Royal Rumble, however, WWE changed plans and decided to go with Charlotte Flair.
Flair vs. current SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley isn’t planned for WrestleMania, so it will be interesting to see how WWE uses Flair and Bayley at WrestleMania this year. Already confirmed for the card is a WWE Championship match between Brock Lesnar and Men’s Royal Rumble winner Drew McIntyre.
