This year’s SummerSlam pay-per-view event happens on August 23 at the WWE Performance Center.
WrestleVotes reported earlier this week that Brock Lesnar wouldn’t be working this show in addition to a few matches being nixed as WWE had torn up the card.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Brock Lesnar is indeed not scheduled for SummerSlam. The reason for putting Drew McIntyre over so strongly in the WrestleMania 36 match against Lesnar was because “The Beast Incarnate” isn’t returning to the company any time soon.
