According to sources, many officials and talents within WWE were “shocked” after Adam Rose released a public statement on Twitter last week regarding his WWE suspension for his second Wellness Policy violation. As previously reported here on eWrestlingNews.com, Rose went on Twitter and said that he had not done “anything knowingly wrong” and that he followed all the correct protocols. He claims his doctors will be making a public statement shortly.
Multiple sources report that Rose has never been known as someone who speaks out of turn or is a problem backstage. Rose is viewed as a hard worker who does what he’s told. WWE officials were unaware that he was planning to release a public statement and while many backstage were surprised he did so, they also have a lot more respect for him now.
For what it’s worth, one source noted that Konnor didn’t test positive for anything illegal. We hope to have more on that shortly.
