According to Bryan Alvarez, WWE has two plans in mind for the Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns match at this Sunday night’s SummerSlam pay-per-view event. He said,
“Right now there are apparently two ideas for the Lesnar/Roman match. One of them is a rather short match. And the other is – you guessed it – a long match. By long I mean one of the longer matches Brock has ever had since he’s been in the company. I guess they’ll decide which one is best on the day of the show.”
It should also be noted that there has been talk of having Lesnar retain the title on Sunday night and then drop it the following night on RAW. The fact that WWE was building the match up as “one of the biggest matches of Reigns’ career” on Monday’s RAW likely means Lesnar will be dropping the title to Reigns at SummerSlam.
