We reported late last night here on eWrestlingNews.com that Alberto Del Rio may have been injured during Sunday night’s WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view event. In an update on this, the injury is 100% legitimate. Del Rio’s injury took place during his final bump during the Money in the Bank ladder match. It was serious enough that WWE doctors ran down to the ring and immediately took him to the back, He then went to a local hospital to get his knee examined.
Del Rio is backstage at tonight’s WWE RAW TV tapings in Phoenix, Arizona. WWE has yet to address the injury or provide any updates on it.
