Backstage Update On Tony Nese’s AEW Contract Status

Tony Nese has already apparently put pen-to-paper on a contract with All Elite Wrestling.

After appearing in the crowd and being acknowledged on the AEW Dynamite broadcast during matches in the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament, “The Premier Athlete” has already reportedly signed a contract with the promotion, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.

Details of the deal are unknown and AEW has yet to release a “Tony Nese is #AllElite” graphic to confirm the signing as of this writing.

In addition to his cameo appearance on Dynamite, the former WWE Superstar also worked the AEW Dark television taping at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, where he made his in-ring debut for the company.

Nese was released from WWE back in June. His non-compete clause in his contract with the company expired last month.
