As previously reported here on eWrestlingNews.com, WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley skipped the 2016 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony and attended the WWN supershow instead. For those wondering, the appearance was pre-approved by WWE. Foley reportedly asked Vince McMahon for permission to appear at the show instead of the Hall of Fame and Vince agreed to it. Foley was at the WWNLive event to present Terry Funk with a Lifetime Achievement award.
Foley reportedly agreed to appear on the condition that Funk was unaware he would attend. WWE is also planning to release the segment on YouTube.
