During Saturday night’s WWE Payback 2023 pay-per-view event, Becky Lynch defeated Trish Stratus in a Steel Cage Match to open the show.
Lynch and Stratus went back and forth for twenty minutes, but it was The Man who withstood interference from Zoey Stark to hit the Manhandle Slam for the win.
Following the match, Stratus berated Stark, who laid her out with the Z360 while Lynch had a staredown with NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton backstage.
