WWE officially announced the news on Tuesday (June 19, 2018) that they had released Big Cass from his contract. There’s no word yet on what led to the WWE making this decision to release him.
Cass had been under contract with the WWE since 2011. WWE issued the following statement:
“WWE has come to terms on the release of William Morrissey (Big Cass).”
