During Friday night’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Big E. cut a promo backstage and issued an open challenge for his Intercontinental Championship on next week’s episode of SmackDown.
Apollo Crews walked up and accepted the challenge so that match will likely be taking place next week. WWE has yet to officially confirm the match as of this writing though.
