During the backstage segment on SmackDown Live, Charlotte was acting heelish to Naomi and Becky Lynch, similar to how her father would act at times when he was considered a babyface. This could be considered a tease that WWE will turn her heel again, leading to an eventual feud with Naomi. Some within the company were opposed to her turning face to begin with.
