Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out of WWE last month due to creative differences.
The two women have since been suspended and stripped of the Women’s Tag Team Championships. Banks has been working on her release from the company and the latest is that her lawyer is negotiating a release.
WWE Hall of Famer Booker T recently said on his Hall of Fame podcast that he’s not sure if AEW would be the right fit for her. He said,
“She’s gonna be okay. As far as Tony Khan making that phone call quick … I know people are going to take this the wrong way, but … I really don’t know if AEW is the place for Sasha Banks.
“Sasha could go and work Britt Baker, where does she go from there? That’s what I’m saying, and I’m not throwing any shade on Thunder Rosa, you know, Nyla Rose or any of those other girls.”
