Bray Wyatt vs. Goldberg took place at the WWE Super ShowDown pay-per-view event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the Mohammed Abdou Arena on the WWE Network.
Goldberg ended up beating Wyatt to win the WWE Universal Title.
After the show, some fans made it known that they think WWE is trying to destroy their stars by having them lose to veteran stars.
Fast forward to Friday’s SmackDown, The Usos beat newly-crowned SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Miz and John Morrison in a non-title match.
Kyle A. Scarborough said, “You booked your brand new tag champs to lose clean in a non-title match? Are they trying to completely destroy their characters?”
Wyatt’s reply was, simply, “Yes.”
