Breaking News: Velveteen Dream Released From WWE

According to a report from Pwinsider, Patrick “Velveteen Dream” Clark has been released from WWE.

According to multiple sources, Dream was informed of his release from the company at around 4PM EST today. While the now-former NXT Superstar was backstage at RAW recently, the company had no plans to use him.

Dream last wrestled for WWE NXT in December 2020 and had not been seen at the WWE Performance Center for some time.

Of course, many of you know that allegations were made last year, claiming Dream sent a sexually explicit photo to an underage girl as well as having inappropriate communications with underage boys. Dream denied the claims at the time but more allegations, along with photos and audio that appeared to be the NXT Superstar, later surfaced. WWE later claimed that they held their own independent investigation and found he had done nothing wrong. Despite that, he wasn’t featured on WWE at all.

Story developing – stay tuned for more.
