According to sources, Kurt Angle suffered an injury during the first match on the first night of TNA’s current tour of the UK. Several reports noted that Angle looked to be in “bad shape” following his match with Drew Galloway in Manchester. Angle reportedly suffered a concussion during the Galloway match.
As previously reported here on eWrestlingNews.com, this tour is Angle’s UK farewell with the promotion.
Sources backstage say Angle was said to have started feeling better about 35 minutes after the match. He was then checked and cleared by a doctor, and was allowed to take part in another match against Bobby Roode last night. He is currently set to finish out the tour and face Bobby Lashley in Birmingham.
There is no word on how serious Angle’s concussion is, but hopefully he is doing OK.
