Brian Pillman Jr. Expected To Leave MLW, Keiji Mutoh Retiring One Of His Moves

According to a report from Fightful, Brian Pillman Jr. is not expected to be in attendance at this week’s MLW TV tapings, which include the Battle Riot III pay-per-view event. Pillman’s current MLW contract runs through Battle Riot III, but there has been very little contact between the two sides and he’s expected to be a full-time AEW Superstar going forward.

During a recent interview with Tokyo Sports, Keiji Mutoh announced that he’s retiring his moonsault press finisher. He said,

“I won’t do it anymore. That’s the end. I was interviewed in this way only because I was lucky. If I was unlucky, my femur might have broken and I couldn’t walk for the rest of my life.”
