During the latest episode of the A&E Biography special looking at DX, Bruce Prichard revealed that Shawn Michaels was the person behind putting Road Dogg and Billy Gunn together. Of course, they would go on to become the team of the New Age Outlaws. Prichard said,
“It was Shawn. I remember Shawn coming to us and going, ‘Hey, man, get these guys out of the silly gimmicks put them together as a tag team, Road Dogg and Rockabilly. That’ll be a hell of a team.”
