WWE & Impact Wrestling Hall of Famer Bully Ray believes that WWE should treat CM Punk in a way similar to their handling of Roman Reigns.
On a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Ray spoke about Punk’s return to WWE thus far and why he should be handled like the Tribal Chief. He said,
“I think they should be very careful. I think they should treat Punk like a mini-version of Roman [Reigns] when it comes to his matches right now because that match against Seth will mean that much more if we only get a few Punk matches along the way. They might have to throw somebody in Punk’s way before Rollins.”
Punk’s first match back will happen next week and see the Chicago-Made Superstar face The Judgment Day’s ‘Dirty’ Dominik Mysterio.
Bully Ray was far from impressed by CM Punk’s first promo back when he described WWE as his ‘home.’ Ray said that Punk wasn’t genuine and came across as a “crock of sh*t!“
