Impact Wrestling held a set of TV tapings on Sunday following their Bound for Glory pay-per-view event at Cicero Stadium in Chicago, IL.
The event marked the debut of Ace Steel as a producer for the promotion. CM Punk was not present at Bound for Glory 2023, but he did attend the Impact Wrestling TV tapings on Sunday.
According to a report from Haus of Wrestling, Punk arrived just before the tapings started and spent time talking with key Impact talent.
Steel was also warmly received backstage and appeared happy to be back to work. There was talk of Steel wrestling in the Gauntlet For The Gold match at Bound for Glory, but it was ultimately decided against.
