Cody Rhodes Comments On His Recovery From A Torn Pec

Cody Rhodes worked two months for WWE after returning at WrestleMania 38 before being sidelined with a torn pectoral muscle.

The typical timetable for the recovery for this sort of injury is anywhere between six to nine months.

While speaking to TMZ Sports, Rhodes said doctors still won’t give him a timeline for when he could return to in-ring action.

“They know I’m stupid, and I’d try to test it. I got in my mind where I want to be, and I think a lot of fans have in their mind where I’d like to be, and that’s hopefully where it’s at.”

“They’ve [WWE] treated me like the house that built me,” Rhodes said. “And honestly, it was amazing. We were back, and everything was rolling so fast. And then I tore my pec. It was like the best three months of my life,” he continued. “Hopefully, get back to that soon. Hopefully, it’s a run that people will remember, and I gotta’ be healthy for it.”
