During Sunday night’s WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event, Cody Rhodes fought through a completely torn pectoral tendon to defeat Seth Rollins in the main event.
Rhodes, who was clearly working through an injury and had severe bruising on his right arm, was able to pin Rollins after hitting two Cross Rhodes and using a sledgehammer, which is a reference to his admiration for Triple H.
The win marks Rhodes’ third straight win over Rollins on a WWE pay-per-view event. Rhodes is expected to undergo surgery in the very near future.
