Cody Rhodes Denied Trademark For Former WCW PPV Name

PW Insider has provided updates on several trademarks Cody Rhodes had attempted to register.

Former WCW pay-per-view names BattleBowl and Bunkhouse Stampede have been approved to publish for opposition at a later date.

However, The “Bash at the Beach” trademark was given an initial refusal by The USPTO because likelihood of confusion with WWE’s registered “The Bash” trademark.

Previously, Cody had stated that the trademarks weren’t specifically for use in All Elite Wrestling. His reasoning was to have ownership of things his father Dusty Rhodes created.
