Cody Rhodes has yet to ‘finish the story’ and become a World Champion in WWE, but the American Nightmare has another goal on his mind.
Since returning to WWE at WrestleMania 38, Rhodes has been one of WWE’s most-featured stars, with even a torn pectoral doing little to derail his popularity.
In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Cody spoke about his other big goal – to become the face of the WWE. He said,
“The milestones keep building. We keep climbing to new levels. Now the question I keep asking myself is, ‘Who is the face of the place?’ That’s what I want. That’s another level I need to attain. Hopefully, that starts at the Royal Rumble.”
Rhodes is declared for the Men’s Royal Rumble match and alongside CM Punk is being considered a favorite. The WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view event will take place on January 27.
