Fightful Select have provided an update on the contract statuses of several top indie stars: Colby Corino, EJ Nduka, Lady Frost, Billie Starkz, and Mads Krugger. Details for each performer can be read below:
Colby Corino: Corino tweeted on January 2nd that he is now officially a free agent. This led some to believe that Corino wasn’t going back to NXT, as previously reported. This is still the plan. Due to his previous contract status, WWE legally couldn’t speak with him.
EJ Nduka: Nduka officially became a free agent on January 1st after completing his commitments to MLW. No word has been given on any possible contract extension discussions.
Lady Frost: The former Impact Wrestling talent had interest from multiple companies, specifically within Mexico. CMLL offered Lady Frost a contract, and AAA has inquired about Frost working with them. As of now, Lady Frost is still on the free agent market and hasn’t signed anywhere.
Billie Starkz: Fightful has confirmed that Starkz is a free agent via direct contact with her. Despite working for MLW and All Elite Wrestling, she’s still not contractually obligated to either company at this time.
Mads Krugger: Krugger’s MLW release became official this week. No word on any WWE interest in him thus far, but WWE have their eyes on other MLW talent whose deals are coming up.
