It was revealed over the weekend that WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz and WWE SmackDown General Manager have agreed to a new WWE SmackDown Live! contract. As previously reported here on eWN, talks between the two “broke down” and Miz even teased a trade to RAW.
WWE reports that over the weekend, “cooler heads prevailed” and The Miz will be remaining on WWE SmackDown Live!.
