PWinsider.com is reporting that WWE is planning to film their annual Tribute to the Troops special on Tuesday, December 5th as part of the SmackDown Live TV event in San Diego, CA at the Valley View Casino Center. That’s going to be a long night for fans in attendance as WWE airs SmackDown and 205 Live in a three hour period. As of this writing, there’s no word yet on when the special will air on the USA Network.
The sports entertainment has held the special annually since December 2003. Over the years, Tribute events have been held in Iraq and Afghanistan before moving to domestic locations starting with 2010.
