At yesterday’s NJPW Battle Autumn event, FTR retained their IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championships against the United Empire (Jeff Cobb and Great O-Khan). Following the match, NJPW English-language commentator Kevin Kelly had some praise for the reigning champions.
Taking to Twitter, Kelly responded to a fan by stating, “Thank you! I love tag team wrestling and no one does it better than @DaxFTR and @CashWheelerFTR #njautumn.”
In response, FTR’s Dax Harwood had his own high praise for Kelly. Harwood wrote, “Legit the best commentator in the game today. The perfect mix of sports perspective and entertainment all while getting the talent over. You’re a truly one of a kind, Kevin. I’m lucky to have you calling our matches.”
