TheLeafChronicle.com is reporting that former TNA Superstar Anthony “Crimson” Mayweather was arrested on Sunday after an incident with his wife. He was charged with domestic assault.
According to the report, Mayweather, 31, was arrested after police received a 911 call regarding a man who was involved in an argument with a woman and had headbutted her. The caller said the couple was outside of the Mid Town Inn hotel in Clarksville, TN. When police responded to the scene, they found a woman, who turned out to be Mayweather’s wife, bleeding from her nose and lip. The wife told police “everything was fine” and wanted them to just go away. The couple denied anything had even happened between them. Police noted that Mayweather was “very defensive” during questioning.
After an investigation, Mayweather was arrested and charged with domestic assault, while his wife was arrested and charged with public intoxication.
