The main event of Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite saw FTR put their AEW careers on the line for a shot at The Gunns’ AEW World Tag Team Championships.
Despite The Gunns’ best efforts, Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler defeated the young upstarts to win the titles for the second time, saving their AEW careers in the process. Following the match, Mark Briscoe joined Dax and Cash in the ring to celebrate.
FTR’s title win has seemingly put a rest to rumors regarding their AEW contract situation, although no official announcement has been made pertaining to their contract status from either side.
