Impact Wrestling will be making an official announcement for this year’s Slammiversary event at 12 PM ET on Thursday.
There had been speculation from PWInsider that the Ultimate X match would return for the event.
At this month’s Against All Odds there was a 5-way match to determine a #1 contender for the X Division Title, which was ruled a no contest. Thus, there’s no opponent for current champion Josh Alexander at the event.
The event takes place on July 17th at Skyway Studios in Nashville.
