Former SD Live Women’s Champion Naomi was forced to relinquish her championship due to a legitimate knee injury. SD Live GM Daniel Bryan announced a few weeks ago that current Women’s Champ, Alexa Bliss will defend the title against all available women on the roster. Naomi is from Orlando where WrestleMania 33 will be held and the “all available women” stipulation allows Naomi to return if she is healthy in time.
A Twitter user asked Naomi’s father when the former Women’s Champion will return to the ring. He responded:
Naomi’s father is no employee of WWE so he would have no reason to say this to increase or build story-line etc. Here’s a tweet where her father also confirmed that the knee injury was legitimate and not just a story-line injury.
