GLOW
If you are not aware, there is a Netflix series entitled; GLOW, which documents the rise of women’s wrestling in the 80’s. During his “Cornette Experience” podcast, Jim Cornette shared his thoughts on why he did not enjoy the original GLOW of women’s wrestling.
Here’s what Cornette had to say:
“Hated it, I didn’t want to see the original s**t, I don’t want to see this s**t. The original ‘GLOW’ in the ’80s was a Goddamn clown show f*****g parody of wrestling, with girls, most of them hadn’t even had wrestling backgrounds. It was bad comedy, bad scripted bulls**t. When I first saw it, my head exploded, I despised the thought of it. Aw f**k, it was so embarrassing.”
