WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has made it known that his farewell match will take at WrestleMania 35 on Sunday, April 7, 2019 in East Rutherford, NJ at MetLife Stadium. As of this writing, his opponent at the biggest event of the year for the company has yet to be named.
WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross sounded off Angle’s retirement match on The Jim Ross Report. The eyes of Ross, he thinks Angle deserves to face a top star at this show.
“That means he should have his moment, with the right opponent, that Kurt Angle can go out and have as good a match as he possibly can at this stage of his career. There’s a lot of guys that are big time stars that don’t have matches. “I don’t know who Samoa Joe is going to wrestle, I don’t know who Roman Reigns is going to wrestle I don’t know who John Cena is going to wrestle.”
