Former Impact Wrestling Champion Johnny “Impact” Hennigan is no longer under contract with the promotion as PWinsider.com reports that he finished his current run with Impact Wrestling at Slammiversary.
It was noted that “Hennigan’s Impact Wrestling contract expired several weeks ago, but the two sides agreed that he would work through the PPV in order to close out his storyline with Swann. Impact sources confirmed that Hennigan is no longer under contract to the promotion.”
It was noted the two sides are still in talks about continuing their relationship but Hennigan is now free to negotiate and sign with any promotion.
