As seen during AEW Revolution, Jon Moxley defeated Chris Jericho to become the new AEW World Champion. During the media scrum following AEW Revolution, Jon Moxley offered Cody Rhodes a title shot and begged him not to hide behind a stipulation.
The stipulation Moxley is referring to stems from Cody’s loss at ‘Full Gear’ which prevents him from getting another AEW World Title opportunity. All Elite Wrestling has stuck to that clause, it’s unclear if the company plans to switch their position on it or keep it intact.
