On Monday, Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated reported that Kazuchika Okada’s contract with NJPW expires at the end of January.
The contract talks between Okada and New Japan Pro Wrestling usually would have taken place by now, but the report noted that Okada is now seriously considering the option of wrestling for another promotion.
It’s been reported that WWE is interested in Okada, while AEW has already signed Jay White, who is likely to show interest in Okada once the latter’s NJPW deal expires.
