All Elite Wrestling EVP Kenny Omega took to social media today to address the tribalism in wrestling, as some fans only support one promotion and not the other in the war between AEW and WWE. The majority are fans of both promotions.
Omega sent out the following tweet, which happened just one day after it was announced Jade Cargill had left AEW for WWE:
“This may be news to a lot of fans out there, but when one wrestler goes from one company to another, we tend to always wish them the best and cheer for them while they embark on their new journey. Genuinely. It’s embarrassing and shameful that some fans aren’t capable of the same.”
