During the early 2000s, Eddie Guerrero and Chyna were paired up on-screen in a romance angle.
Speaking on his “Keepin’ It 100” podcast, Konnan revealed that Guerrero didn’t originally want to do the gimmick with the The Ninth Wonder of the World. He said,
“She’s the original Mami. And Eddie didn’t want to do that gimmick with her, because he thought he was playing second fiddle [to her]. And I was like, ‘Bro, just show them you can do this and they’ll use you for everything else.’”
Konnan added that Chyna “definitely deserves to be in the Hall of Fame by herself.”
