Liv Morgan has big plans for the new year, including embracing her slightly darker character.
Since losing the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship at Extreme Rules, Morgan has slowly been introducing a more violent, unhinged character to WWE programming.
Speaking with Corey Graves and Jackie Redmond to discuss her plans for 2023, Morgan spoke about taking her character to the next level.
“2023 is all about raising the stakes; it’s about being extreme, taking it to the next level. I kind of love the pain. It kind of makes me feel alive, especially after losing my title.”
In the same virtual attendance, Morgan added that she’s never complacent and is looking to do more in 2023.
“I think one thing about me that I am happy that I have is that I am never complacent. I know, like truly, the best is yet to come because I’m going to continue to evolve and grow and get better and better.”
Morgan’s most recent match came at the WWE MSG live event last night, where she defeated Shayna Baszler.
