During a recent interview with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin on his “Unleashed” podcast, WWE Superstar Luke Gallows discussed his “Festus” character. Gallows says Vince McMahon was the man behind the gimmick.
According to Gallows, McMahon told him a story about a kid he knew in high school who was slow but would snap if someone made him do so. McMahon wanted Gallows to play a character based on the kid. Gallows said he and Vince McMahon “practiced the Festus Face” over and over until he got it right.
